Please read these Terms carefully. They welcome youth sport, limit our liability where the law allows, set acceptable-use rules, and assign event and safeguarding responsibility to organizers.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Viantech ("Viantech", "we", "us"), the company that operates the RacketLive product, for use of racketlive.com, related sites, and the RacketLive iOS and Android apps (the "Service"). For our registered office address and company registration details, email support@racketlive.com.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher digital-consent age in your country) to create an account. Parents or guardians should create accounts when an event is run for a family or child-led team.
RacketLive welcomes junior, mini, and kids' tournaments. Players of any age may be entered as participants by an organizer who has authority and a lawful basis (including parental or guardian consent where required). Creating an account is separate from being listed as a participant.
If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it to these Terms.
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including activity through Sign in with Apple or Google.
Notify us immediately at support@racketlive.com of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are compromised, abusive, or in breach of these Terms.
You may delete your account in the mobile apps under More → Privacy & Security, or by emailing support@racketlive.com. Deletion ends your licence to use account features. Historical public scores may remain in anonymized or labeled form as described in the Privacy Policy.
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for lawful tournament, scoring, and spectator purposes — including youth and community events. We do not grant you any right to copy, scrape, reverse engineer, resell, or frame the Service except as the law allows.
You must not: (a) violate any law or safeguarding obligation; (b) upload malware or attempt to probe or disrupt the Service; (c) harvest personal data of others without a lawful basis; (d) impersonate any person; (e) spam; (f) use automated scraping or bots except ordinary search-engine indexing of public pages; (g) circumvent access controls or usage limits; (h) upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, exploitative of children, or infringes others' rights; (i) publish a child's email, phone number, home address, or date of birth on public spectator fields. The full rules are in the Acceptable Use Policy on this website. If that policy and these Terms conflict, these Terms control.
RacketLive provides software only. We do not organize, sanction, insure, referee, or supervise your events, venues, or participants. If you create or publish an event, you are the organizer. You are responsible for that event, including safety, waivers, and eligibility. You are also responsible for event rules, safeguarding, prizes, parental consent, and any sports-governing-body requirements.
Playing, training, and attending an event are at the participant's own risk. Injuries, illness, and incidents at a venue are the responsibility of the organizer and the venue. RacketLive does not provide medical care, officials, referees, or event insurance. Organizers should carry their own event waiver and liability insurance.
Logos, photos, flyers, sponsor marks, and other files you upload are your content. You must have the rights to upload them. RacketLive only hosts and displays those files. Send a rights complaint to support@racketlive.com with the page address, and we may remove the file.
You must have a lawful basis to enter participant data. For children, that typically means parental or guardian consent and compliance with your club or national safeguarding policy. You must not publish private contact details or dates of birth on public spectator fields.
When you enter participant data, you are the controller of that data and Viantech (operating RacketLive) processes it to provide the Service (see the Privacy Policy). A Data Processing Agreement is available on request at support@racketlive.com.
You agree to indemnify Viantech against claims arising from your events, your content, your safeguarding failures, or your misuse of participant data, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This indemnity does not reduce any non-waivable consumer rights.
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant Viantech a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and transmit that content solely as needed to operate the Service (including public spectator pages you publish). We do not claim a licence to use your content for unrelated advertising or to train third-party AI models.
You must have the right to upload every logo, photo, flyer, club mark, sponsor mark, and other file. RacketLive only hosts and displays those files. You represent that you have those rights.
We may remove or restrict content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, harms children, or breaks the law. Send a rights complaint to support@racketlive.com with the page address and what should come down.
Scores, draws, and standings are the organizer's record. They are provided as-is. We do not guarantee accuracy, and they are not an official result unless that organizer's sports governing body says so. The Service is not a substitute for official refereeing where a governing body requires it.
The Service, RacketLive branding, software, and documentation are owned by Viantech and its licensors. You may not use our name or marks except to describe your use of the Service in a factual way.
The Service relies on processors such as Supabase, Vercel, Apple, and Google. Their terms apply to their services. Optional homepage ads are served by Google AdSense only if you accept non-essential cookies. The iOS and Android apps may show a non-personalized Google AdMob banner on a tournament page when that tournament has ads turned on. We are not responsible for third-party sites you open from the Service.
App Store and Google Play terms also apply. For iOS, Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement governs to the extent of a conflict with these Terms regarding Apple's role. Apple is not responsible for the Service or for claims relating to the app. Ads in the apps, when a tournament has them turned on, are served by Google AdMob and are non-personalized.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that scoring will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for officiating a particular event.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIANTECH AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
SUBJECT TO THE PREVIOUS PARAGRAPH AND ANY NON-WAIVABLE RIGHTS, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED CANADIAN DOLLARS (CAD $100).
If you are a consumer, you keep all mandatory statutory rights in your country of residence. Liability limits apply only to the extent permitted by those laws. We do not exclude liability where the law forbids it.
You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for breach, risk to the Service or other users (including children), legal requirement, or discontinuation of the Service. Sections that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) survive termination.
We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new date. For material changes we will provide reasonable notice where practicable (for example by posting on this page or emailing account holders). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
If you are a business user, the courts of Ontario, Canada have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect our IP or the Service.
If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of Ontario or in the courts of your place of residence where mandatory consumer law gives you that right. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply and are not waived by these Terms.
