Competition mode, categories, and draw formats

Competition mode

Individuals — French Open–style: events are Singles or Doubles under one tournament.

Team — Davis Cup–style: events use Team Challenge. Don’t mix individual and team competition modes in one tournament.

Event category

Singles, Doubles, or Team Challenge — who competes. In the UI this is “event category,” not “match format.”

Draw format

Knockout — single elimination.

Round Robin — everyone plays everyone in the pool.

Group + Playoffs — pools, then knockout from standings.
